ASSOCIATION OF PRODUCERS OF ORGANIC FERTILIZERS (AVOH) was founded in 2022 with the aim of raising awareness of the need for organic agriculture and creating opportunities for all Slovak producers of organic fertilizers and organic plant protection products.

One of the main tasks of ASSOCIATION OF PRODUCERS OF ORGANIC FERTILIZERS (AVOH) is the creation of partnerships with ministries and state administration bodies, private entities and similar associations at home and abroad, for the purpose of commercialization, presentation, popularization and exchange of experience.

AVOH brings together Slovak producers not only of fertilizers but also of protective means for plants as well as farmers interested in organic agriculture. The advantage for members is stability of prices and delivery of organic fertilizers as well as joint presentation of products on domestic and foreign markets.

The main activities and goals of the association are:          

  • 1/  združenie a vytvorenie platformy výrobcov organických hnojív a prostriedkov na ochranu rastlín na území SR, ako rovnocenného partnera pred orgánmi štátnej správy;
  • 2/ creating partnerships with ministries and state administration bodies, private entities and similar associations at home and abroad, for the purpose of commercialization, presentation, popularization, and exchange of experience and their enforcement during negotiations with state administration bodies;
  • 3/ cooperation in the field of scientific research, in the creation of new innovative technological procedures and new products in the field of agriculture and environmental protection;
  • 4/ organizing joint presentations, exhibitions, participating in tenders and public competitions, with the aim of promoting sales and increasing awareness in the field of organic farming;
  • 5/ active participation and common procedure in the creation of legislative laws and measures, in order to protect the interests of AVOH in the Slovak Republic;
  • 6/ cooperation with scientific research institutes, laboratories and certification offices at home and abroad.
